Steam Punk!

Urban Dictionary describes steampunk as:
Steampunk is a subgenre of speculative fiction, usually set in an anachronistic Victorian or quasi-Victorian alternate history setting. It could be described by the slogan "What the past would look like if the future had happened sooner." It includes fiction with science fiction, fantasy or horror themes.

Therefore your assignment (should you choose to accept it) is to doll a person from a time in history who has had science progress further than it really had at said point. I don't care what time period it is as long as it fits the bill babe.

Specific Rules:

• It's got to be history. So nothing later than the 1980's and that's pushing the boat out a bit already. Remember the original steampunk is the Victorian Era.

• Gadgets need to be present. They can't be some weird arse thing that hasn't been invented yet. We're working with history not the future.

General Rules:

• No frankendolling or drag 'n drops. If it's not yours, I don't want it (Bases don't count, promise ^^)

• One entry per person and one doll per entry unless otherwise specified.

• Can't be bigger than 350x350. And really that's a helluva lotta pixels. If it's a little over I'll accept it but not by more than about 15

• While I don't see the point of animation, if you do keep it to 5 frames.

• Dolls must bein either .png or .gif format. The others are either too big or unsightly. If you need help with conversion I can do it, but there's a ton of free programs out on the web so do explore your options. Transparency is love.

• Send entries to the.peggster[at]gmail[dot]com with the name of the contest or whatever in the title. You will get a reply back when I receive it.

Include:

• A link to the doll. I'm sorry but my pc is pissy about opening files in emails.

• Your name or online alias

• Base credit, even if it's yours.

• Your Website to be displayed with the doll (Optional)
